其實尼爾在上市前後的發言，不管是接受訪談還是社交網站上的po文，都給人一種很傲
慢的感覺。簡單說就是你們批評的人，都是不懂我們的價值，感受不到我們的創意與苦
心。

這段話當然只是在評論那些比較偏激，而去攻擊甚至恐嚇演員的網友。但尼爾這則訪談
中一樣是在展現我講的那種傲慢。

他企圖把自己塑造成悲劇英雄，這話可以是講給玩家聽，也可能是講給他老闆聽，講給
董事會(如果有的話？)的股東聽：他想講的是什麼呢？

從另外一個角度來思考，其實就是"我們做這遊戲是時代創舉，所有的批評我們會概括承
受。但除非這些反對的聲音可能危及製作人員的安全，不然我們不打算正面回應。蓋先
知總是寂寞的，不見容於當代的主流價值是很正常的。"而

這裡的發言和ND本人以及ND公司這段時間在社群網站上那些看似開玩笑的po文對照著看
，其實就完全互相呼應。也就是說他們根本無意認真看待玩家的感受，他們做出來的東
西，自己覺得是好東西，那就是好東西。

其實某種程度上我還蠻欣賞他的這種狂妄，敢於跟消費者的輿論對幹，搞得不好可能危
及自己的飯碗，就算很有抱負很有想法的人都不見得願意這麼做。這次最後生還者2的銷
量依舊亮眼，看起來他們現在的狂妄是有鈔票在背後撐腰，或者也可以說，他們是在燃
燒著自大的火焰，燃料是過去累積下來的商譽。但下一部作品呢？頑皮狗還能這麼信心
滿滿嗎？一切都看消費者了。

其實要展現你的"進步價值"也好、"新觀點"也罷，跟照顧玩家的情感是完全沒有衝突的。最簡單的方法就是多重結局，或者選擇殺與不殺。
或許不用像底特律那樣有幾十種不一樣的結局，但簡單來說，就是你要給玩家選擇，這是一種尊重，尊重玩家的感情。如果頑皮狗能給出多重選擇的玩法，不僅是照顧了玩家的感受，說不定玩家還會熱烈討論比較原結局和其他結局，頑皮狗可以得到很正面的回饋。
可惜的是這次依舊是以往的頑皮狗，一樣的一本道劇情，連一點點支線都沒有，就是完完全全的一路到底，遊戲性提高了，劇情的做法完全沒有改變。
