Hi,
Okay, the new beta is ready. I want the fullscreen support tested for any
bugs. Also test out the new aspect correction option. Many sound related
fixes were made so check them out as well. Download from here. Comments, bugs
(except VDP related Smile ), suggestion etc.. are welcomed.

Regen 0.93 Beta 3 Notes
=======================
Changes from Beta 2:
--------------------
This is a very short and crude list of changes. Full changelog
will be given later in the final release.
* Lots of sound fixes.
* Real fullscreen support. Previously, fullscreen was nothing but
borderless, maximized window.
* Aspect correction options.
* Updated NTSC filter with configuration and control support.
* Small and nifty cheat editor. Double click on a cheat to open it.
* Lots of small bug fixes.
* VDP related bugs still remain there and I am aware of them so don′t
bug me about those .
* Text engine won′t work after toggling fullscreen mode. So don′t
bug me about that either .
Overview of fullscreen:
-----------------------
Regen will try to set the best options (triple buffering, proper refresh
rate selection etc..) automatically. If one is unavailable it will fallback
to
the one available. Triple buffering will be used automatically if it is
available without the need to set any other option. If a 60Hz (for NTSC
games)
refrest rate is available it will too be used automatically. Otherwise
a double buffer will be crated and/or whatever refresh rate is available in
the selected fullscreen resolution will be used.
Overview of aspect correction:
------------------------------
Aspect correction will *only* be done in fullscreen mode.
There are different common aspect ratios given in the "Monitor Aspect" sub
menu.
Select the one corresponding to your monitor. There is another option given
in
that menu called "Use frame aspect". When this is set, the selected
fullscreen
resolution aspect will be used in calculations and your monitor aspect will
be
disregared. Otherwise, the monitor aspect, fullscreen resolution aspect and
the source aspect (4:3) will all be used in the calculations. There doesn′t
exists an option like "Zoom" like in Kega which cuts part of the image. I
don′t like this option very much so don′t even ask me to add that.
That should be all there is to know about this beta. If there are any
other problems not mentioned here just contact me.
