死亡高地(Death Mesa)是由Martin Pulido設計的BANG!非官方擴充。個人覺得是一個很不
錯的擴充,因此就打算把他翻成中文。這個擴充主要是為了早死的玩家設計一個幽靈系統
,仍夠能參與遊戲,以滅少莫明奇妙被盲殺,或順間被炸死的怨念。而要取得這個擴充的
方法,目前就是到Martin Pulido的blog(那裡有不少好玩東西)下載PDF自行印製(之前好
像可以花9美元+運費請他幫你做,不過好像他說 dV Giochi 跟他說不淮他印,因此只能
自已做)。網址如下:

基本上,我只是菜鳥,第一次做這種翻譯,自己也覺得翻得不好,如果有任何可以改進的
地方,敬請提出。另外,這個翻譯還沒完全,卡片效果只有翻到牌上的文字,還沒對說明
書的詳細解釋做翻譯。
另外,提一下Martin目前還有在設計另一款非官方,賊窟(Rober’s Roost)有,個人也覺
得十分不錯,不過還沒完全就是了。
我把說明書及卡片的原文(這樣有沒有騙P幣的嫌疑?)和翻譯貼在下面:
Death Mesa, Beta Version
死亡高地beta版
Depending on the game, BANG! can either be a lot of fun or really boring for
you. If you die early on in the game, you can end up waiting around
(sometimes 15-45 minutes) for it to end. While you might have something else
to do in the mean time, it still doesn’t make the situation optimal. Death
Mesa is an unofficial BANG! expansion designed to address this problem. When
players die, instead of sitting out the whole game, they remain in the game
as “ghosts.” As ghosts, they will still be able to impact the outcome of
the game, help their team, and even succeed in their roles.
根據每場遊戲情況的不同,BANG!可能非常有趣駐可能真的很無聊。如果你死在遊戲的初
期,你很可能就得坐著等遊戲結束(通常要15到45分鐘)。就算你可以邊等邊做其它,你還

When a player is eliminated, the following occurs:
當一個玩家被消滅時,發生以下事情:
1. The cards in play in front of him and in his hand are not discarded, but
rather are combined and placed in a pile faced down in front of him. This
pile is known as a player’s “buried goods,” and the cards there in can
later be used to aid teammates and other players. If Vulture Sam happens to
be in play, he takes all of the eliminated player’s cards like usual.
Afterwards, the eliminated player draws the same number of cards from the
draw pile as Vulture Sam picked up from him to add to his buried goods.
一、玩家場上以及手上的牌不會被棄掉,而是放在一起朝下反蓋成一個牌堆。這個牌堆被
稱為該玩家的「陪葬回」,而之中的牌之後可用來幫助隊友或其它玩家。如果Vulture

2. Character cards are turned face down for the purpose of indicating that
the dead player no longer possesses the special abilities of his character as
a ghost. The role of the player, however, is flipped over and placed face up
in front of him. Ghosts have no life points and cannot die. The dead player
as a ghost no long affects the distance between players, nor do living
players affect the distance between him and other players. Ghosts will be
able to play cards on any player regardless of distance considerations for
the living.
二、將角色牌朝下反蓋,以表示身為一個幽靈,該死人玩家不在擁有該角色的特殊能力。

3. The dead player draws 1 card from the specialized 52-card Dead Men’s
Deck, which can easily be discerned by the different image on the backs of
the cards. This drawn card is now a part of his ghost hand. In the future,
the dead player will have a turn (in the same order as before) just like when
he was alive. His drawing phase is now altered, however. Instead of drawing
from the normal BANG! deck, he will now draw from the Dead Men’s Deck.
Ghosts draw 2 cards from this deck on their turns. They have a card limit of
2, and so must discard down to 2 cards by the end of their turns. Discarded
cards are placed in a separate discard pile from the normal BANG! deck cards.

4. Cards drawn from the Dead Man’s Deck can have a variety of effects, from
aiding teammates, weakening other players, and sometimes even allowing you to
attack players or influence other dead players. These cards, unless it
specifies otherwise (Warn! and Mirage being the exceptions), can be played
solely during the ghost’s own turn.
四、從死者牌堆抽出的牌有各式各樣不同的效果,從幫助隊友,削弱其它玩家,甚至讓你
攻擊其它玩家或是影響其它死人玩家。這些牌除非特別說明(例外有警訊和海市蜃樓),都
只能在你的回合使用。
6. When a ghost plays a card, it is not guaranteed that the card’s effect
will occur because another ghost can thwart his plan. Another ghost may
immediately discard a card that will negate the played card’s effect. The
opposing ghost does so by discarding a card of the opposite suit color of the
played card. Thus, if a black (♠ or ♣) card is played, a red card (♥ or ♦
) must be discarded to attempt negation. The appropriate discarded card
initiates a duel between the two ghosts. The ghost who played the initial
card can respond by playing a card with the opposite suit color of the
discarded card. If he does so, the other ghost may discard another card with
the opposite suit color, and so on. When either ghost either cannot or
chooses not to discard more cards, that ghost loses the duel. If the opposing
ghost wins, the originally played card’s effect is negated; otherwise, it
occurs. Only 1 duel may be initiated to negate a card’s effect. Here is an
example:
六、當一個幽靈玩家打出了一張牌,因為其它的幽靈會阻撓它的行動,他並不能確定那張
牌的效果能夠發動。另一個幽靈能立即棄一張牌來無效該牌的效果。這個反對的幽靈可藉

Ghost A, an outlaw, plays a Spook! on his turn against a living player. The
value of the Spook! is a K♠. Ghost B, a Deputy, does not want this card to
be played, so he discards a Curse that is an 8♦. Ghost A really wants the
Spook!’s effect to occur, so he responds by discarding a Death and Taxes
with a value of 5♣. However, Ghost B is prepared for the retaliation and
discards a Syphon that is a 7♦. Since Ghost A has no more black suited cards
to discard, the Spook!’s effect is negated. Both the played card (Spook!)
and all the cards involved in the duel are discarded (Curse, Death and Taxes,
Syphon).

There is a special consideration for the Renegade. At anytime, a dead
Renegade may influence a duel between ghosts by playing an appropriate card
on behalf of either party (he provides the discarded card for one of them,
requiring the other to respond).
對叛徒有特別的考量。一個己死的叛徒能在任時候打出一個適當的牌來介入兩個幽靈間的
決鬥並幫助某方(即提供某方所需的卡而讓另一方回應)。
7. If a ghost successfully plays a Dead Men’s Deck card (its effect occurs),
he may gain a bonus. If the played card was a ♠, he may draw a card from the
normal BANG! deck to add to his buried goods. If the played card was a ♥, he
may select a living player to draw 1 card at random from his buried goods.

8. If a ghost wishes to play more than 1 Dead Men’s Deck card on his turn
(Warn and Mirage, played out of turn are not censured by this), he must
discard a Dead Men’s Deck card each time before he plays another.

That explains all the dynamics of being a ghost and playing Dead Men’s Deck
cards. However, the interaction between ghosts and living players is not
one-sided. Living players can influence dead players by being able to Cat
Balou their Dead Men’s Deck cards. As one might expect then, Brawl and Can
Can can also affects ghosts. Dead Men’s Deck cards can also be directly
discarded by BANG! (no distance considerations necessary), which do not count
towards the 1 BANG! card limit.

When a General Store is played, reveal cards for all players, dead and
living. The living players have first choice in clockwise order from the
player who played the card. The ghosts in clockwise order from the player who
played the card select from the remaining cards and add them to their buried
goods.
當有人使用雜貨電,不論死活為所有玩家翻一張牌。活人照順時針順序先選。之後死人在

Conditions for When Ghosts are All of 1 Role Type
當所有的幽靈為同一身分的情況
While Death Mesa could potentially be played for simple humor in 3-player, it
is not clear how it would really help the game. It is more clearly designed
for 4-8 player. However, even in these games, when all the ghosts possess the
same role, there are some differences in gameplay.

When there is only 1 dead player (or the dead players are all of 1 team,
whether Outlaws, Deputies, or just a Renegade), to play any Dead Man’s Deck
card, 2 other Dead Men’s Deck card must be discarded with it. Thus, on their
first turn as ghosts they can immediately play (1 card from when they died,
and the 2 drawn from their drawing phase). From then on, they will be able to
play a Dead Men’s Deck card every 2 out of 3 turns.
當只有一個死人玩家時(或者全部的死人玩家都同一隊,都是不法之徙、都是副警長或就
一個叛徙),要用一張死者牌堆的牌,必須同時棄兩張死者牌堆的牌。因此在他們當鬼的
第一回合能馬上用一張牌(一張在他死的時候得到,另外兩張在抽牌階抽的)之後,他們能
每三回合打兩張死者牌堆的牌。
Optional: If players deem that the 1 team of ghosts are too weak in this
setup, an alternative is:
To play a Dead Man’s Deck card the played card must either (1) be royal (J,
Q, K or A), or (2) have 2 other Dead Man’s Deck card discarded with it.

Role Victories
角色勝利條件
Ghosts can win the game by helping their team mates eliminate other players,
or by eliminating players directly themselves (the latter is much harder to
do, but possible). Such victories should be obvious for Outlaws and Deputies.
幽靈可以藉者著幫助同隊或是自己消滅其它玩家來獲得勝利(後者困難很多不過還是有可
能)。這些勝利條件對不法之徙或副警長都長明顯。
Optional: If it is found that it is too difficult for a Renegade to win when
a Sheriff and Renegade are the only players left alive, you may change the
victory conditions for the Outlaws and Renegade. If the dead Outlaws happen
to kill the living Sheriff during this situation (a show down between a
living Sheriff and Renegade), then both the Outlaws and Renegade win. If the
Renegade kills the Sheriff, then he alone has the ultimate victory.

The Renegade cannot obviously win as a ghost, and so his victory conditions
have been altered. There are two ways the Renegade can win. First, the
Renegade could play a card that eliminates all of the living. This is the “
Vengeance” victory.
叛徙當幽靈時沒有明顯的勝利方法,所以他的條件有改變。叛徙有兩種勝利方式。第一、

Second, if the dead Renegade kills the living Sheriff before any other
players do, the dead Renegade resurrects his character with the same amount
of life points as the living player with the most health (up to his character
card’s maximum health), draws 2 cards, and can “dig up” any of his buried
goods (put them all back into play). He becomes the new Sheriff whom the
Outlaws (and other Renegade) must now eliminate. If he survives, the
Renegade-become-Sheriff wins. This is the “Scofflaw” victory. The dead
Sheriff now becomes the new dead Renegade, and has the same victory
conditions that the prior Renegade had. The Deputies must now protect the
Renegade-become-Sheriff to win.
第二、如果己死的叛在所有其它玩家之前殺死警長,他復活成原本的角色並擁有與目前最
高生命值相同的生命值(但不能超過最大上限),抽兩張牌並且挖出所有的「牌葬回」加入

To make the Renegade more able to achieve a “Scofflaw” victory, dead
Renegades can discard any 2 cards of the Dead Men’s Deck to play a Spook!
against a target character (the equivalent of a BANG!). However, dead
Deputies can discard any 2 cards of the Dead Men’s Deck to Warn a target
character (the equivalent of a Missed! for that character) and protect the
original Sheriff.
為了讓叛徙更容易達成「藐視法律勝利」,己死的叛徙能夠棄任何兩張牌死者牌組的牌,
對一個目標角色用一張幽靈!(相當於BANG!)。但是已死的副警長也能棄任一兩張死者牌組

Playtest: The Zombie Renegade
測試中:殭屍叛徙
I have still not been satisfied with the Renegade’s position in Death Mesa.
While he can still influence other ghosts strongly, his actual potential to
succeed in his role as a ghost seems slim. Even the Scofflaw victory that I
describe in this Guidebook is very difficult to pull off (where he kills the
living Sheriff, and becomes the new one). I have thought of an alternative,
which I know complicates things, but I want the Renegade involved in the
game. Feel free to playtest this alternative and give me your feedback!

This alternative allows the Renegade to return to life without having to
eliminate and become the new Sheriff. It will replace the scofflaw victory,
so that victory condition no longer applies. The path to resurrection that I
want playtested at the moment is:

1. When the Renegade dies, place his role card on top of his life point
counter, so that all of the bullets are covered.

2. At the beginning of each future turn, move the role card down so that a
new bullet is shown. After 3 bullets are shown, do not move the role card
down anymore. He may choose to resurrect if:

3. He possesses a certain amount of buried goods. At the moment, I want 6
buried goods to be the tested amount. Too many will make it too hard for the
Renegade to resurrect (especially given the cards that deplete buried goods),
and defeat the purpose. But he shouldn’t get a shoe in to resurrect after 3
turns. To help him accumulate buried goods, instead of being able to discard
any 2 DMD cards to Spook!, he can discard any 2 to draw a buried good
instead. If the drawn card’s suit is black, he may show it to draw another
buried good.

4. With the 3 bullets showing and 6 buried goods accumulated, the Renegade
may opt to resurrect as a Zombie on his turn if he has not yet drawn cards
for the turn (otherwise, he waits until his next turn). This resurrection has
the following stipulations:

- The Zombie Renegade has no character ability, but has distance constraints
and can die like any of the living characters.

more life points than the living player with the most health. Thus, if the
player with the most health has 2 life points, the Zombie Renegade resurrects

- He discards half of his buried goods (his choice). The others become a part

- His max amount of life points is always 3.

If this is still seen as too strong, the Zombie Renegade may also have a card

Curse. A living player of your choice must discard 1 more card after his next
discard phase. At that time, take the discarded card and add it to your “
buried goods.”

Cemetary. All dead players uncover their “buried goods.” Choose 1 living
player to draw 2 of them, and then the other living players, starting to the
left of the person you chose, draw 1.

Blood Juice. Choose any player to gain 1 life point.

Bad Moon Rising. “Draw!” from the normal deck. On spades, all living
players must discard 2 cards from their hand or in front of them, or lose 1
life. On clubs, they must discard 1 card or lose 1 life. On hearts, they draw
1 card.

drawing phase. At that time, draw a card from the normal deck and add it to
your “buried goods.”

The East Wind. Select 2 living players. Until your next turn,
whenever they try to attack each other, they must play 2 cards with
bang symbols. They choose which card occurs when they play 2.

Dry Spell. A target living player cannot gain health by any alcoholic drink

Last Testament. Play this card to give 1 card of your choice from your “
buried goods” to another player.

In Memoriam. A target living player may play any number of BANG! on his next
turn as long as the target of the BANG! is your killer. If your killer is
dead, the player you choose may play 1 extra BANG! this turn

Hidden Stash. Select any living player to draw 1 card immediately.

his next turn.

Mirage. When a player is directly attacked, play this card to redirect the
attack to another living player (besides the attacker) who is directly to the

Proper Burial. Play this card in front of a living player. If this player
does not play or use any cards on his next turn (observing the burial), then

Possess. Select a card from a living player’s hand. Play it as you wish,
consistent with this player’s distance constraints. Blue and green cards may
be played in front of others. The possessed player can attack himself. If the
card cannot be played return the card to its owner.

Unfinished Business. The last player you attacked while alive must “draw!”

player, which your role dictates you must kill, to “draw!”

基本上,我只是菜鳥,第一次做這種翻譯,自己也覺得翻得不好,如果有任何可以改進的
地方,敬請提出。另外,這個翻譯還沒完全,卡片效果只有翻到牌上的文字,還沒對說明
書的詳細解釋做翻譯。
另外,提一下Martin目前還有在設計另一款非官方,賊窟(Rober’s Roost)有,個人也覺
得十分不錯,不過還沒完全就是了。

Death Mesa, Beta Version
死亡高地beta版
Depending on the game, BANG! can either be a lot of fun or really boring for
you. If you die early on in the game, you can end up waiting around
(sometimes 15-45 minutes) for it to end. While you might have something else
to do in the mean time, it still doesn’t make the situation optimal. Death
Mesa is an unofficial BANG! expansion designed to address this problem. When
players die, instead of sitting out the whole game, they remain in the game
as “ghosts.” As ghosts, they will still be able to impact the outcome of
the game, help their team, and even succeed in their roles.
根據每場遊戲情況的不同,BANG!可能非常有趣駐可能真的很無聊。如果你死在遊戲的初
期,你很可能就得坐著等遊戲結束(通常要15到45分鐘)。就算你可以邊等邊做其它,你還

When a player is eliminated, the following occurs:

1. The cards in play in front of him and in his hand are not discarded, but
rather are combined and placed in a pile faced down in front of him. This
pile is known as a player’s “buried goods,” and the cards there in can
later be used to aid teammates and other players. If Vulture Sam happens to
be in play, he takes all of the eliminated player’s cards like usual.
Afterwards, the eliminated player draws the same number of cards from the
draw pile as Vulture Sam picked up from him to add to his buried goods.
一、玩家場上以及手上的牌不會被棄掉,而是放在一起朝下反蓋成一個牌堆。這個牌堆被
稱為該玩家的「陪葬回」,而之中的牌之後可用來幫助隊友或其它玩家。如果Vulture

2. Character cards are turned face down for the purpose of indicating that
the dead player no longer possesses the special abilities of his character as
a ghost. The role of the player, however, is flipped over and placed face up
in front of him. Ghosts have no life points and cannot die. The dead player
as a ghost no long affects the distance between players, nor do living
players affect the distance between him and other players. Ghosts will be
able to play cards on any player regardless of distance considerations for
the living.
二、將角色牌朝下反蓋,以表示身為一個幽靈,該死人玩家不在擁有該角色的特殊能力。

3. The dead player draws 1 card from the specialized 52-card Dead Men’s
Deck, which can easily be discerned by the different image on the backs of
the cards. This drawn card is now a part of his ghost hand. In the future,
the dead player will have a turn (in the same order as before) just like when
he was alive. His drawing phase is now altered, however. Instead of drawing
from the normal BANG! deck, he will now draw from the Dead Men’s Deck.
Ghosts draw 2 cards from this deck on their turns. They have a card limit of
2, and so must discard down to 2 cards by the end of their turns. Discarded
cards are placed in a separate discard pile from the normal BANG! deck cards.

4. Cards drawn from the Dead Man’s Deck can have a variety of effects, from
aiding teammates, weakening other players, and sometimes even allowing you to
attack players or influence other dead players. These cards, unless it
specifies otherwise (Warn! and Mirage being the exceptions), can be played
solely during the ghost’s own turn.
四、從死者牌堆抽出的牌有各式各樣不同的效果,從幫助隊友,削弱其它玩家,甚至讓你
攻擊其它玩家或是影響其它死人玩家。這些牌除非特別說明(例外有警訊和海市蜃樓),都
只能在你的回合使用。
6. When a ghost plays a card, it is not guaranteed that the card’s effect
will occur because another ghost can thwart his plan. Another ghost may
immediately discard a card that will negate the played card’s effect. The
opposing ghost does so by discarding a card of the opposite suit color of the
played card. Thus, if a black (♠ or ♣) card is played, a red card (♥ or ♦
) must be discarded to attempt negation. The appropriate discarded card
initiates a duel between the two ghosts. The ghost who played the initial
card can respond by playing a card with the opposite suit color of the
discarded card. If he does so, the other ghost may discard another card with
the opposite suit color, and so on. When either ghost either cannot or
chooses not to discard more cards, that ghost loses the duel. If the opposing
ghost wins, the originally played card’s effect is negated; otherwise, it
occurs. Only 1 duel may be initiated to negate a card’s effect. Here is an
example:

Ghost A, an outlaw, plays a Spook! on his turn against a living player. The
value of the Spook! is a K♠. Ghost B, a Deputy, does not want this card to
be played, so he discards a Curse that is an 8♦. Ghost A really wants the
Spook!’s effect to occur, so he responds by discarding a Death and Taxes
with a value of 5♣. However, Ghost B is prepared for the retaliation and
discards a Syphon that is a 7♦. Since Ghost A has no more black suited cards
to discard, the Spook!’s effect is negated. Both the played card (Spook!)
and all the cards involved in the duel are discarded (Curse, Death and Taxes,
Syphon).

There is a special consideration for the Renegade. At anytime, a dead
Renegade may influence a duel between ghosts by playing an appropriate card
on behalf of either party (he provides the discarded card for one of them,
requiring the other to respond).
對叛徒有特別的考量。一個己死的叛徒能在任時候打出一個適當的牌來介入兩個幽靈間的
決鬥並幫助某方(即提供某方所需的卡而讓另一方回應)。
7. If a ghost successfully plays a Dead Men’s Deck card (its effect occurs),
he may gain a bonus. If the played card was a ♠, he may draw a card from the
normal BANG! deck to add to his buried goods. If the played card was a ♥, he
may select a living player to draw 1 card at random from his buried goods.

(Warn and Mirage, played out of turn are not censured by this), he must
discard a Dead Men’s Deck card each time before he plays another.

That explains all the dynamics of being a ghost and playing Dead Men’s Deck
cards. However, the interaction between ghosts and living players is not
one-sided. Living players can influence dead players by being able to Cat
Balou their Dead Men’s Deck cards. As one might expect then, Brawl and Can
Can can also affects ghosts. Dead Men’s Deck cards can also be directly
discarded by BANG! (no distance considerations necessary), which do not count
towards the 1 BANG! card limit.

When a General Store is played, reveal cards for all players, dead and
living. The living players have first choice in clockwise order from the
player who played the card. The ghosts in clockwise order from the player who
played the card select from the remaining cards and add them to their buried
goods.

Conditions for When Ghosts are All of 1 Role Type

While Death Mesa could potentially be played for simple humor in 3-player, it
is not clear how it would really help the game. It is more clearly designed
for 4-8 player. However, even in these games, when all the ghosts possess the
same role, there are some differences in gameplay.

When there is only 1 dead player (or the dead players are all of 1 team,
whether Outlaws, Deputies, or just a Renegade), to play any Dead Man’s Deck
card, 2 other Dead Men’s Deck card must be discarded with it. Thus, on their
first turn as ghosts they can immediately play (1 card from when they died,
and the 2 drawn from their drawing phase). From then on, they will be able to
play a Dead Men’s Deck card every 2 out of 3 turns.
當只有一個死人玩家時(或者全部的死人玩家都同一隊,都是不法之徙、都是副警長或就
一個叛徙),要用一張死者牌堆的牌,必須同時棄兩張死者牌堆的牌。因此在他們當鬼的

Optional: If players deem that the 1 team of ghosts are too weak in this
setup, an alternative is:
To play a Dead Man’s Deck card the played card must either (1) be royal (J,
Q, K or A), or (2) have 2 other Dead Man’s Deck card discarded with it.

Role Victories

Ghosts can win the game by helping their team mates eliminate other players,
or by eliminating players directly themselves (the latter is much harder to
do, but possible). Such victories should be obvious for Outlaws and Deputies.
幽靈可以藉者著幫助同隊或是自己消滅其它玩家來獲得勝利(後者困難很多不過還是有可
能)。這些勝利條件對不法之徙或副警長都長明顯。
Optional: If it is found that it is too difficult for a Renegade to win when
a Sheriff and Renegade are the only players left alive, you may change the
victory conditions for the Outlaws and Renegade. If the dead Outlaws happen
to kill the living Sheriff during this situation (a show down between a
living Sheriff and Renegade), then both the Outlaws and Renegade win. If the
Renegade kills the Sheriff, then he alone has the ultimate victory.

The Renegade cannot obviously win as a ghost, and so his victory conditions
have been altered. There are two ways the Renegade can win. First, the
Renegade could play a card that eliminates all of the living. This is the “
Vengeance” victory.

Second, if the dead Renegade kills the living Sheriff before any other
players do, the dead Renegade resurrects his character with the same amount

card’s maximum health), draws 2 cards, and can “dig up” any of his buried
goods (put them all back into play). He becomes the new Sheriff whom the
Outlaws (and other Renegade) must now eliminate. If he survives, the
Renegade-become-Sheriff wins. This is the “Scofflaw” victory. The dead
Sheriff now becomes the new dead Renegade, and has the same victory
conditions that the prior Renegade had. The Deputies must now protect the
Renegade-become-Sheriff to win.

To make the Renegade more able to achieve a “Scofflaw” victory, dead
Renegades can discard any 2 cards of the Dead Men’s Deck to play a Spook!
against a target character (the equivalent of a BANG!). However, dead
Deputies can discard any 2 cards of the Dead Men’s Deck to Warn a target
character (the equivalent of a Missed! for that character) and protect the
original Sheriff.
為了讓叛徙更容易達成「藐視法律勝利」,己死的叛徙能夠棄任何兩張牌死者牌組的牌,

Playtest: The Zombie Renegade

I have still not been satisfied with the Renegade’s position in Death Mesa.
While he can still influence other ghosts strongly, his actual potential to
succeed in his role as a ghost seems slim. Even the Scofflaw victory that I
describe in this Guidebook is very difficult to pull off (where he kills the
living Sheriff, and becomes the new one). I have thought of an alternative,
which I know complicates things, but I want the Renegade involved in the
game. Feel free to playtest this alternative and give me your feedback!

This alternative allows the Renegade to return to life without having to
eliminate and become the new Sheriff. It will replace the scofflaw victory,
so that victory condition no longer applies. The path to resurrection that I
want playtested at the moment is:

1. When the Renegade dies, place his role card on top of his life point
counter, so that all of the bullets are covered.

new bullet is shown. After 3 bullets are shown, do not move the role card

3. He possesses a certain amount of buried goods. At the moment, I want 6
buried goods to be the tested amount. Too many will make it too hard for the

and defeat the purpose. But he shouldn’t get a shoe in to resurrect after 3
turns. To help him accumulate buried goods, instead of being able to discard
any 2 DMD cards to Spook!, he can discard any 2 to draw a buried good
instead. If the drawn card’s suit is black, he may show it to draw another
buried good.

4. With the 3 bullets showing and 6 buried goods accumulated, the Renegade
may opt to resurrect as a Zombie on his turn if he has not yet drawn cards
for the turn (otherwise, he waits until his next turn). This resurrection has
the following stipulations:

- The Zombie Renegade has no character ability, but has distance constraints
and can die like any of the living characters.

Curse. A living player of your choice must discard 1 more card after his next
discard phase. At that time, take the discarded card and add it to your “
buried goods.”

Cemetary. All dead players uncover their “buried goods.” Choose 1 living
player to draw 2 of them, and then the other living players, starting to the

Death and Taxes. Select 1 living player to draw 1 less card on their next
drawing phase. At that time, draw a card from the normal deck and add it to
your “buried goods.”

The East Wind. Select 2 living players. Until your next turn,
whenever they try to attack each other, they must play 2 cards with
bang symbols. They choose which card occurs when they play 2.

Dry Spell. A target living player cannot gain health by any alcoholic drink

Last Testament. Play this card to give 1 card of your choice from your “
buried goods” to another player.

In Memoriam. A target living player may play any number of BANG! on his next
turn as long as the target of the BANG! is your killer. If your killer is
dead, the player you choose may play 1 extra BANG! this turn

Hidden Stash. Select any living player to draw 1 card immediately.

Guilty Conscience. Select any living player that has killed someone to be
unable to play or use any card that could inflict damage to another player on
his next turn.

Mirage. When a player is directly attacked, play this card to redirect the
attack to another living player (besides the attacker) who is directly to the
left or right of the player who was attacked.

Proper Burial. Play this card in front of a living player. If this player
does not play or use any cards on his next turn (observing the burial), then
he draws 2 cards at the end of his discard phase.

Possess. Select a card from a living player’s hand. Play it as you wish,
consistent with this player’s distance constraints. Blue and green cards may
be played in front of others. The possessed player can attack himself. If the
card cannot be played return the card to its owner.

Poltergeist. All living players must discard a blue or green card in play in

Nightmare. Choose a living player to lose their character ability until your
next turn.

Reveal this card and place it face up in front of him in a horizontal
position. They cannot use this card until your next turn.

Syphon. Steal 1 Dead Men's Deck card from a dead player. This card cannot be
negated.

Seance. Pick 2 cards at random from a living player's hand to be
secretly shown to you and another living player of your choice. No
other action can occur until the cards are returned.

Unfinished Business. The last player you attacked while alive must “draw!”
On reds, steal 1 card from his hand and add it to your “buried goods.” On
blacks, he is the target of a BANG! If the player is already dead or your
last attack while alive targetted multiple players, choose another living
player, which your role dictates you must kill, to “draw!”
未了之事:當你死前最後攻擊的玩家還活著,他(她)必須判定。若為紅色,從他的手中偷
取一張牌並加入你的「培葬品」。若為黑色,則他被使用一張BAGN!。如果該玩家己死或
你死前的最後一次攻擊多個玩家,則你選擇你角色所須殺死的玩家為判定對象。
