Taiwan simply doesn't have the players to use 3-4-3, and 3-4-3 is not even
used very much by any team because it is completely useless against anything
else other than a 5-2-3 CA. 5-5-0 is a defensive formation, and Taiwan is a
small team who will have a hrd time winning points.

3-4-3 and 5-5-0 have completely different uses.
You play 5-5-0 if you're defending with all you got, usually in combination
with ppp - pic, pressing and praying ;-)
3-4-3 is usually used if your midfielders are much, much stronger than the
opponents, and you expect him to play very defensive with very low midfield.
In such a case, you build very strong attack through wingers and forwards,
and have decent defense against any counter attacks. But 3-4-3 is usually
only used by huge countries when facing really weak opponents, so I can't see
many uses for 3-4-3 for the Taiwanese U20.
3-4-3 is similar to 2-5-3, but 2-5-3 can be used in more situations, as it
can be nearly as defensive as 3-4-3, if played with a def coach, but offers
much more offensive possibilities. So if they build 3-4-3 as main offensive
formation, the most likely formation to drop for it would be 2-5-3, but I'd
see that as a mistake, because it takes away the most offensive, midfield
oriented options.
