微軟展示遊戲的雲端輔助運算 - XBOX

微軟Build 2014第二天,在談論Auzre時,
微軟拿出一個雲端輔助遊戲中物理運算的demo

影片中一邊是高配置PC純本地運算,一邊是低配置PC但有雲端輔助。
當對建築物進行摧毀時,高配置PC隨著建築物被破壞而產生的碎塊越來越多,
fps逐漸從原本的30fps慢慢降至個位數,3萬個碎塊讓更是讓fps驟降至只有2~3。
而低配置有雲端輔助的一方,就算有3萬個碎塊,仍舊以30fps的速度在運作。
而針對這個demo,有人質疑只是單純只有展示性質,對時現在實際遊戲上抱持懷疑,
Phil Spencer表示這個Demo絕對不是只有宣傳性質而已
