Hello, this is Pinpingho. Sorry in advance that I'm new to reddit and I don't
know how to edit the post.I'm here to complain about what happened to me in
the WCA.

This is what happened. At first I was applying for the WCA Asia Qualifier.
And I got a reply like this:

You have a seed for WCA tournament.

You move to main tournament.

So, you will play on 18th, Apr.

We will announce to you a schedule about 18th soon.

However, I did not receive any notification. Instead, on the 14th, my friend
told me that I'm not in the bracket. So I shoot them a email to see what's
happening. This is what I get:

I'm sorry about that.

We couldn't give you a seed cause WCA Rule was changed.

Before 4 people could get seed, now only 2 people could get seed.

Thank you.

I mean really? The rule changed, like for what reason? And you didn't even
notify me about that. If my friend had not told me, I wouldn't even know. I
was really angry and was complaining on facebook and my stream. Those were in
Chinese though, so not sure if they get it, but I soon got a email.

Please ignore about this :

So I was thinking. Ok, at least you are trying to resolve the situation.
Let's see what you are going to do. And this is what get on the next day.

Winter seasen 1st, 2nd prize are top seed.

You're a Winter season 3rd, so we give you low seed.

And, NA server added in middle, so seed rule was changed.

I'm so sorry announce to you late.

Match will start 18th, Apr, 1:00 PM, KST (+9 GMT).

5 People will play for Full league system. ( 4decks - 1 deck ban each other)

Oh, really? How smart are you to come up with this. I didn't even know. I was
going to get dropped out of the tournament if I had not been complaining. And
now you are fitting me into the group with four qualified player to play a
Full league system(don't know what it is. probably round robbin.)? And 2 out
of 5 player will advanced to play the "top" seed. This is not only unfair for
me, but also unfair for the qualified players.

Whatever, let's look at the reason for the rule change. "NA server added in
middle, so seed rule was changed." What kind of hex is that? I mean, what
does that mean really. And then I realized that there's a NA server division.
Ok, then you can perfectly seed me into the NA group. Why did you not do
that? I thought you are giving seed according to the apac performance, and I
was promised a seed. Instead, Staz and NaviOOT was seeded in the NA division.

So This is basically what happened. Good job, WCA. good job, Afreeca Korea.

TL; DR

主辦表示都是溝通錯誤，加上中途有美服加入所以種子的規定變了

(規則可以中途變的耶)

施捨你個low seed，五個人打循環賽，頭兩名才有資格跟top seed打
