Nintendo add a personal touch for Wii launch

Talking to ABC news, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has said
that he will be handing out Wii to the first customers at a New York
department store on November 19th. Although the store is yet to be announced,
it's rumoured to be Nintendo World Store in Rockafeller Center.

Reggie told ABC news that, "Those consumers, the core gamer, are very
important to us, and you know what? I'll be at a store in the New York area,
where they will camp out and I will be handing out some Wiis that very first
minute that we're available for purchase."

Fils-Aime shot to fame in May 2004, with the opening line of Nintendo's E^(3)
press conference: "My name is Reggie. I'm about kickin' ass, I'm about takin'
names, and we're about makin' games." His theatrical antics gained a cult
following on the web soon after, when following the conference, many images
of him spread across the web. Reggie is considered by some to be responsible
for revamping the company's public relations in North America, leading many
fans and members of the press to dub his arrival the "Reggielution" (after
the Nintendo Revolution, the code name for Wii)

There's no doubt that this personal touch will lead to legions of his fans
making the trip downtown to meet their hero.

根據 ABC 專訪得知，北美任天堂總裁 Reggie 將會在 11/19 當天在紐約某商店
現身親自販賣 Wii主機。雖然沒有言明是哪一間商店，不過根據推測應該是紐約
的 Nintendo World 吧。
