Patrick "cArn" Sättermon of fnatic has revealed that IEM6 World Championship
will be his last tournament.

Giving reason to the decision, he mentions age and that he has "many other
goals in life" that he intends to achieve, adding that he feels now is the
right time to embark on new challenges.

When questioned about the new in-game leader, Sättermon says "things are
still to be discussed", but gives praise to his team-mate Richard "Xizt"
Landström for his attributes in the game.

Although revealing his decision to retire just ahead of the IEM6 World
Championship, he says his team is completely devoted and focused on the
upcoming event.

B組賽前預測

fnatic (cArn, Friis, Gux, MODDII, Xizt)
So far their only matches with the new lineup are from TECHLABS Cup where they had a good
showing, recording wins against Xapso and ESC in the group stage and WinFakt
in quarter finals before a close 1-2 loss against Na`Vi ended their tournament

Moscow Five is a favorite over every other team in this group but fnatic, and
even against them the odds can't be much worse than 45-55 in the Swedes'
favor.

這支隊伍過去與WinFakt的對戰紀錄都是領先的 小組第二可以預期
掉到第三很可能要面對Na'Vi or SK 這絕對是他們不想面對的
Prediction: 2nd in group B

WinFakt (allu, aslak, BASiC, H^N, lurppis)
I think WinFakt will advance from this group if they manage to beat Lions.
Against fnatic and Moscow Five I think they will fall, just like they did
when playing them on LAN last time. The match against eSAHARA is a match I
don't see them Finns losing, while I feel the match against semXorah could
get tricky. With that said, I won't rule out the possibility of WinFakt
upsetting either fnatic or Moscow Five, but overall see them go through to
the quarter-finals.

換血後的eShara決不是對手 然而他們要在bo3弄翻fnatic或是M5都不太可能
allu aslak BASiC可說是目前芬蘭最好的五人之一 且此陣容也經歷過了TECHLAB Cup磨合
除此之外 他們與semXorah的比賽也是關鍵點之一
但考慮了semXroah的第五人felippe毫無國際比賽經驗 WinFakt應該能以小組第三出線

Lions have always been the "almost" team of big tournaments to me. They had a
great performance at DreamHack Winter last year but apart from that it seems
like they always almost make it, then lose at the last second against top

Most recently they attended IEM6 GC Kiev where they got demolished by Na`Vi,
beaten by SK and they got a win against the weak DTS squad. They are a team
that can for sure advance if they show up playing well, but it's another
question whether or not they actually will. One of the reasons they seem to
have problems here and there is the lack of firepower against the very best
teams

Like in the previous IEM World Championships, the second and third placing
teams from each group will meet in the quarter finals. Both matches will be
broadcasted on ESL TV, like every match from then on.

Friday, March 9 - Semi finals and third place decider

Winners of each group advance directly into the semi finals, where they will
meet winners of quarter finals. Much like in Kiev, ESL has now decided to

day.
