請問"力量魔符"的結算 - 魔法風雲會

在MO上打牌時遇到的問題

對手對他的2/2生物A施放"力量魔符"，目標指定我的2/2生物B
我作為回應施放恩眷指定我的2/2生物B
但是結算的時候他的生物並沒有死亡，甚麼事都沒發生

後來仔細讀文字，力量魔符的效果是may，所以對手可以選擇不要
當時沒有仔細注意詳細情形，MO有分Trigger和Stack
不確定對手施放的時候是不是因為在Trigger而還沒進Stack

想請問1.力量魔符是不是要在Trigger的時候就選擇"是"或"否"互鬥
然後進Stack我可以回應施放恩眷

還是說2.力量魔符在Trigger時僅選擇目標
是在進Stack結算的時候選擇"是"或"否"
而我沒有機會在他選擇"是"之後，堆疊施放恩眷
(有點類似之前Harnessed Lightning一樣，在結算支付多少能量時無法回應)

有點不太清楚規則想弄懂，感謝幫忙!
