The Megaten series has a fanbase in Korea because unlike Final Fantasy and
Tales, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, Persona 3 and Persona 4 were localized
with Korean text. Even the Growlanser titles for PS2 were localized in Korean.
Atlus move into the region was a big step for JRPGs in South Korea since most
publishers just dumped either the Japanese or English versions.
Shin Megami Tensei IV for the Nintendo 3DS is following in the same footsteps.
Nintendo announced they will localize Shin Megami Tensei IV into Korean and
publish the JRPG in the region.
