●對應ＨＤ震動。隨著使用道具、迷你加速等的不同，震動方式也會有所不同，臨場感提升！
●桌上模式也可４人對戰遊玩，但fps將降為３０。
●桌上模式可以２台ＮＳ主機８人對戰。
●賽道、量級從一開始便是全開放狀態，隱藏角色只有「黃金瑪莉歐」，追加部件跟前作一樣靠收集金幣來解鎖。
●各種操作模式可以在遊戲中作切換。
●技術性加速廢止，縮短與上級者的實力差距。
●第三段迷你加速實裝。
●方向盤助手模式雖然不會掉落懸崖，但會變成無法抄捷徑、無法使用第三段加速。
●第一個、第二個道具無法交換，需依序使用。
●計時賽可選擇２００cc。
●可２人一起參加線上對戰。
●線上對戰的待機狀態也可更換車子與角色。
●線上對戰battle模式每次的場地都是隨機決定。（無連續重複？）
