關於我所說的台北 WCA 認證比賽可能無法舉行了.

這件事情首先是因為昨天在板聚時, Toby 由A男處得知得知

台中的比賽目前還在十分不確的狀況,舉辦的可能性不知道有多少

昨晚他回去跟他哥提起此事,又剛好 Shelley 要來台灣

便想趁此機會在台北舉辦,事後因為 Warren 聯繫上 Tyson

表明他還是會舉行比賽,所以原本的台北比賽本來要轉變形式

變成非官方比賽,但成為觀察台灣是否能成為 WCA 其中一個有觀察員的國家

Toby 有寫了一封信要我轉給大家,解釋台北比賽變成非官方的原因

我將信件轉錄如下:

Hello Taiwanese cubing community. My name is Toby Mao and I'm writing this
letter to you in order to explain how to become a larger part of the world
speedcubing community. Chevy has kindly accepted the job of translating this
email to all of you.

So we recently thought about hosting a competition on August 25th but we
think that it is a bit rushed and Warren Liao will be hosting an official one
anyways in September. On the 25th, you should host an unofficial competition
anyways including a website, posted results to speedcubing.com and pictures.
It should be treated like an official competition that is very organized.
This way, the WCA will see that Taiwan is capable of hosting its own WCA
approved competitions.

So, currently, Taiwan speedcubing is quite unnoticed in the Speedcubing
community. A big part of this is because you guys all communicate on your own
forums instead of the international one.

Speedcubing is all about community and sharing ideas. That's how speedcubing
began. Many people with different ideas came together and helped each other
become faster with things that they learned. In order to become a bigger part
of the community, you need to share your thoughts to the world, not just
Taiwan. I know many of you don't speak english, but for the people who speak
a little bit, you can even use a translator, you should get to know the other
countries of speedcubing.

I believe that Taiwan can become a very prominent country in the speedcubing
community because you have a direct link to the United States. Just make sure
to be organized and open and your community and you will be very successful.

大意是雖然比賽無法正式認證,但為了將來能夠讓我們自己可以在台灣舉辦比賽

這個認可是相當重要的,他跟他哥也非常希望台灣的方塊界能夠走向世界

讓我們的聲音被國際聽到.

但後來由於 Warren 確定可以舉辦比賽,Shelley無法跟我們比整天

而且一切都太急,不只台灣這邊,也要有 WCA 的認證

所以台北區的比賽可能就要取消,一切依照原樣在台中舉行

對於這兩天 PO 出比賽訊息可能讓一些板友收到錯誤資訊因而打亂行程

或心情上的影響,真的是非常抱歉. 也辛苦了為此奔波的版友.

目前 Warren 給的訊息是在台中,九月16 or 23 號 有詳細的資訊會再跟各位說
