寫信給桌遊出版商反應盜版情況 - 桌遊

對於板上熱心網友的建議,直接寫信給桌遊出版商反應台灣網拍的盜版盛況
相信大家對於寫信都覺得很懶,更別說是寫英文信
所以這裡我就野人獻曝地粗略寫了篇寄給FFG的範本,文法有錯就請大家別在意了
重點是希望大家幫忙把這種情況和反對盜版的心意反應出去
藉由這些"權利人"來向網拍網站施壓

首先需要大家先上桌遊公司的網站
通常在首頁最下方都會有小小字的"Contact"或"Contact us"這類
基本上就是點進去後,會有讓你email反應問題的地方可以點選
部門或是標題選個類似International distributor and Sale或是Misc/Other都可
如果需要自己打標題就打"Board Game Piracy"

中文大意如下:

我們是一群來自台灣的FFG桌遊忠實粉絲，今天在這給您寫信，是因為要報給你知
近來在台灣最大的網拍--露天拍賣上,出現了一卡車FFG桌遊的盜版品。由於
露天對於盜版的鬆散管制，許多賣家從中國引進了相當多量的粗劣盜版遊戲
並在各大網拍賣場上架，這種狀況也隨著最近台灣桌遊界的蓬勃興盛而更加
嚴重。下列連結就是當您在露天網站上輸入"Citadels"富饒之城後，你會看
到售價低到只有$78新台幣的盜版遊戲, 相當於$2.6美元。

這裡已經有相當數量的玩家抱怨他們跟這些不法賣家交易後上當受騙，同時
也對台灣遊戲的經銷代理商感到失望。我們早已向露天反應過許多販賣盜版
的案例，然而露天並未回應處理。它的寬鬆政策要求只有當合法出版商/經銷
商等利益直接受到侵害的權利人向其提出舉報時才會受理行動。我們在此強烈
希望能早日終結台灣桌遊環境的這種不可取的現象，也相信您對這問題會有
高度關注和興趣，同時願意進一步協助我們一起打擊盜版桌遊。

Hi, to whom it may concern,

We are a group of loyal fans of FFG's great board games from Taiwan. I am
writing this message to report the recent abundant piracy of FFG's
board games on Taiwan's biggest online auction website, Ruten 露天拍賣
(http://www.ruten.com.tw/). Due to the loose policy on anti-piracy of Ruten,
a great deal of sellers have been importing tons of low-quality pirate
board games from China and putting them on shelf on various online auction
websites. This situation has been getting much worse recently due to
the boom of board gaming in Taiwan. Below links are when you key
in "Citadels" to search on Ruten, you will see the pirate
games are for sale for as low as $78 NTD (New Taiwan Dollar), which
is equivalent to $2.6 US dollar only!

A lot of gaming fellows have already complaint about being cheated
by the unlawful sellers by getting pirate games after the deals were
done and felt much disappointed with the board game distributors and
retailers in Taiwan. We have reflected many of piracy cases to Ruten,
which, however, did not respond since its loose policy required the
legal publisher or the distributor whose benefits are "directly harmed"
by the piracy to report. We are strongly hoping to terminate this
intolerable situation in Taiwan's gaming environments, and believe
you will have serious concerns about this issue and would love to help
us to put board game piracy to the end. Thank you!
