It can be mortal if you run updater in 6.20TN-C because of its flash protect.

liquidzigong
It prevents the writing of flash0 files, but allows updater to write IPL.
That will end up your PSP as a brick.

So if you are going to update any OFW please TURN OFF your PSP first.
