スクエニ北瀬氏「ファイナルファンタジーをWii Uで出す可能 - Final Fantasy

　FF13のプロデューサーなどをしている、スクウェア・エニックスの北瀬佳範氏による
と、「ファイナルファンタジー」を「Wii U」で発売する可能性があるそうです。

　ここでいう「ファイナルファンタジー」がどのようなFFのことを意味しているのかは
明確になっていませんが、任天堂向けにはFFCCなどのFFシリーズが以前からいくつも出
ていることから、「ファイナルファンタジー本編の新作」という意味だと考えられてい
ます。

　北瀬氏は、以前は任天堂の据え置きハードでのFFの発売について、「バランスWiiボ
ード対応のFFを作っています」というような、ちょっと任天堂ハードを小馬鹿にしたよ
うな冗談をコメントしていたこともあったそうですが、任天堂の「Wii U」を見て、フ
ァイナルファンタジー本編の新作を出せる可能性を感じたようです。

　なお、あくまでも、ファイナルファンタジーをWii Uで出す可能性があるということ
だけで、具体的に何かを作っているというコメントが出ているわけではないので注意が
必要ですが、既にFF13がXbox 360とマルチになっている以上、Wii Uの性能がXbox 360
より劣っていなければ、今後のFFは３機種のマルチ展開になる可能性が高いのかもしれ
ません。

Square Enix 'Considering Final Fantasy For Wii U'

Square producer Yoshinori Kitase has confirmed that the publisher is
looking into bringing Final Fantasy to the Wii U

The Final Fantasy franchise currently has numerous titles in development
including FFXIII-2 and FFXII Versus.

“We are now considering the possibilities of bringing the Final Fantasy
series to the format”

"Three or four years ago we joked around about developing a Final Fantasy
game on the Wii Fit balance board," Kitase told NowGamer at E3. "But after
seeing Wii U revealed at Nintendo's conference, we are now considering the
possibilities of bringing the Final Fantasy series to the format."
