Bethesda公開聲明如下：

"After months of discussion with Sony, we regret to say that while we have
long been ready to offer mod support on PlayStation 4, Sony has informed us
they will not approve user mods the way they should work: where users can
do anything they want for either Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition.

"Like you, we are disappointed by Sony’s decision given the considerable
time and effort we have put into this project, and the amount of time our
fans have waited for mod support to arrive. We consider this an important
initiative and we hope to find other ways user mods can be available for
our PlayStation audience. However, until Sony will allow us to offer proper
mod support for PS4, that content for Fallout 4 and Skyrim on
PlayStation 4 will not be available.

"We will provide an update if and when this situation changes."

簡單翻譯如下：
經過一連串的協商 SONY仍然不同意我們在PS4上提供MOD功能
即便這是當初在遊戲發售時就有公開的功能：讓玩家做任何他們想做的事情(MOD)

跟你們一樣 我們也很失望 我們投入許多心血在研發上面
我們也一直希望能把MOD帶給PS4玩家
但以現在的狀況 FO4跟Skyrim是不會有MOD功能的

心得：
其實這兩款遊戲 即便沒有MOD
個人認為還是相當值得一玩
但少了mod 就是少了些樂趣 也少了一些選擇
站在SONY的角度 PS就是要提供一個無腦的平台 光碟放進去任你玩
MOD的出現 可能會有相容或bug等問題
總之 國外的粉絲已經暴動了XD
