SEGA在Gotta Go Fast: The Official Sonic the Hedgehog Panel at SXSW Gaming中宣佈
將於夏天在PC、PS4、Switch、Xbox One上推出《Sonic Mania Plus》，《Sonic Mania Plu
s》是《Sonic Mania》的加強版，將新增Mighty the Armadillo、Ray the Flying Squirre
l兩個角色、Encore Mode、可四人遊玩的Competition Mode。

除數位版外，PS4、Switch、Xbox One另有售價$29.99的實體版發售。已購買《Sonic Mania
》的玩家亦可升級為《Sonic Mania Plus》，但尚未確認是否免費提供。
