在東京電玩展的演說裡面， SCE 公佈了對於 PS4 的銷售預期：
本年度內 500 萬台！
註：日本的會計年度到 2014 年 3 月底

這個數字比 2006 PS3 多了 40% 左右，若達成的話那 PS4 歐美
普及速度，甚至可能比當年的 Wii 還要快（因 Wii 在日本年末
商戰期就發售，首年度其實有不少部分是日本當地賣出）。
