PS3 Custom Firmware 3.50 Jailbreak Enabled - 改機

這篇已經被證明是假消息不用浪費時間往下看了XDDD

發文說他有辦法在 3.50 的系統中重新打開被關閉的 PS3JB 後門,
方法是透過修改官方的 3.50 更新檔,
將 3.50 版的更新檔 PSUPDAT.DAT 和 PUPSigner.exe 放在同一個資料夾
執行 PUPSigner.exe 進行打補釘的動作,
然後把修正好的 PSUPDAT.DAT 放到隨身碟然後接到 PS3 上,
PS3 應該會顯示發現 3.51 版的韌體並要求更新,
更新後系統還是會顯示目前版本是 3.50 版,
不過 PS3JB 的後門已經被開啟,
另外本版自製韌體附帶下面功能:
(1) 開啟 PS3JB 後門
(2) 隨機產生 MAC 地址 (網路卡的硬體編號)
(3) 擋掉光碟及網路的自動韌體更新

FAQ:
Q. 我靠這更新檔就能夠改機成功了嗎?
A. 不行, 你還需要破解棒或是其他 IPhone/HTC 等其他破解裝置,
這個更新檔只是開啟 PS3JB 後門而已
(譯註: 目前的所有破解棒應該都不行,
因為 JIG 模組在 3.50 的位置應該不一樣,
需要重新對 3.50 的版本進行修正才行)

Q. 這更新檔可以線上更新嗎?
A. 目前不行

Q. Sony 會發修正檔修正這個漏洞嗎?
A. 會, 但是這個更新檔預設會擋掉所有的更新除了 USB 隨身碟上的更新檔

Q. 如果 Sony 發了新的更新檔那要怎麼辦呢?
A. 那就需要重新對新版的韌體做修正
(譯註: 小弟覺得如果是真的,
那下個/下下個更新檔肯定被用新的方式加密,
畢竟 Sony 也不是笨蛋~~)

原文有實際操作 PATCH 的影片可以看,
不過沒有實際 demo 更新韌體的畫面感覺很假,
而且這個韌體會改掉 mac 這個對於連 PSN/網路對戰會不會有影響還不知道,
不過如果這是真的那降級到 PS3 主機出廠預置版本也是可能的,
真假可能要等有人先當白老鼠試了才知道...:P

Well here it is. This is custom firmware for the PS3 based on the Official
3.50 Update.

You will need to download the RAR file and extract the contents to the same
folder.

The PSUPDAT.DAT file is ready patched to re enable the bug exploited by all
versions of the USB Jailbreak but you will obviously have to country patch it
and secure key sign in using the included PUPSigner.exe

Once that has finished transfer the PSUPDAT.DAT file to a USB stick and
update the PS3 from there

It will find and ask to install firmware update 3.51 this will allow people
to patch a 3.50 system. However once reset it will revert to showing 3.50.

You may now jailbreak your PS3 using the PSJailbreak dongle or similar.

Main features of custom firmware: USB Exploit reinstated, MAC code
randomisation, All automatic updates are now BLOCKED disk or online. Working
online and on PSN Store.

You will need to acquire the backup manager separately - google is your
friend.

Q: Can I Jailbreak my PS3 with this package?

A: Not on its own no. Once you install this update you will reenable the USB
bug to ALLOW you to jailbreak your PS3 using one of the many usb methods
currently available such as this one for the iphone (search YouTube for
others ports such as android phones inc htc, ipod, palm pre, ti-84)

Q: Is this detectable online?

A: Currently, No

Q: Can Sony fix this with an update?

A: Yes, but this patched firmware will block all means of update except USB
stick

Q: What happens if Sony update the ps3 again?

A: Then the new firmware will/should get patched and released for usb update.
