指壟斷數位版遊戲市場，PlayStation Store 遭美國玩家集體控告

美國遊戲玩家正準備集體提告 Sony，因透過 PlayStation Store 壟斷遊戲的數位版市場。訴狀指 Sony 自從 2019 年 4 月起，禁止亞馬遜和 GameStop 等第三方零售商銷售 PlayStation 遊戲數位版下載碼，逼玩家必須從 PlayStation Store 購買。

訴狀又指 Sony「要求 PlayStation Store 賣遊戲的發行商放棄控制零售價格的權力」，這做法「迅速有效阻止 PlayStation 數位版遊戲於零售市場任何和所有價格競爭」。玩家方表示數位版遊戲 PlayStation Store 的售價，比光碟版售價高 75%~175%。

玩家方以遊戲《惡魔獵人5》為例，表示光碟版於零售商降價數次，但 PlayStation Store 卻一直維持原價，網站 newegg 亦將接近相同的 Xbox 數位版下載碼以原價三折發售。玩家方認為 Sony 此舉是壟斷數位版遊戲市場以收取較光碟版高的費用，違反市場價格競爭。
