Sarah Walker 是 PCem 主要的開發者，官網在 2021/6/14 更新如下：

Just a quick note to say that I (Sarah Walker) have decided to call it quits.
Thanks to those who sent supportive messages, they're genuinely appreciated.
Also thanks to those who have supported me and the project over the last decade
or so.

If anyone is interested in taking over the project & github repo, please
contact me.

表示她決定退出專案，並尋求有意願的人繼續接手。

連官方的討論區也一併關閉了，原因只有寫著如下：
I'm done. This isn't fun anymore.

在 Github 上面也有人詢問討論，實際原因不知。
畢竟 Sarah Walker 在參與 PCem 開發已經將近15年，可能想暫時休息了。
