若無特別強調，排行是以銷售金額計算。
NPD預計在台灣的9月13日公布8月美國遊戲銷售。

《勁爆美式足球20》是本月銷售榜首，而這也是《勁爆美式足球》系列連續20年在發售首月
拿下當月銷售冠軍，上一次《勁爆美式足球》系列沒能在發售首月拿下當月銷售冠軍發生在
1999年9月，那個月是《FF VIII》發售，而銷售冠軍也是由《FF VIII》拿下。

《聖火降魔錄 風花雪月》是系列作中發售首月最暢銷遊戲，為先前紀錄保持者《聖火降魔
錄 Echoes 另一位英雄王》的三倍，而生涯總銷售也僅次於《聖火降魔錄 覺醒》。


《真人快打11》總銷售超越《真人快打3》，成為系列作銷售第二名，僅次於《真人快打X》
。此外，《真人快打11》也是美國史上格鬥遊戲銷售第五名。

本月遊戲銷售前十名有六個是任天堂平台獨佔。

Switch是本月及2019年迄今銷售最佳主機。

本月銷售最佳周邊是Switch Pro Controller，而黑色DualShock 4則是2019年迄今銷售最佳
周邊。
