Max Payne 1於Win7不能執行的解決辦法 - Steam

這幾天Max Payne三代合集特價，也趁這時購入體會子彈時間(Bullet time)。

但目前一代在Win7執行似乎有些問題，但不是每個人都會遇到，自己剛好是
比較衰的那個人，所以google後找到個可以解決問題的辦法。

1) Download the game with steam.
由steam下載遊戲

2) Rename the directory so it has NO SPACES:
Mine was c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Max Payne
changed to c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MaxPayne
這步驟可以略過

3) Right click the executable and go to properties, then choose
Compatibilty.Tick Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows
98/Me and tick Run this program as administrator
(Don't know if it is necessary to run as admin).
直接開啟Max Payne遊戲資料夾，右鍵點選Max Payne執行檔選相容性，
選擇Win98/Me，不用選「以系統管理員執行」


4) Extract the contents from MaxPayneSoundPatchv1.12 you got here

to c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MaxPayne
下載更新檔如上網址，解壓縮到遊戲資料夾

5) Run a command prompt as administrator: push windows button,
type cmd on metro view and right click and choose run as administrator
開啟cmd模式輸入DOS指令進入遊戲資料夾根目錄，如不知指令請直
接輸入「cd○c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MaxPayne」
*○代表空格(space)

6) Type c:\.
同5)

7) Type cd c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MaxPayne.
同5)

8) Type MaxBatch.bat.
進入後在>後輸入MaxBatch.bat.後會看到轉換程式畫面

9) Press c to convert game.
在執行畫面按c進行至轉換

10) Let it work. Press any key when done, and then press E to quit.
轉換約需要5~10分鐘，完成後按e離開

11) You can delete these folders and files in
D:\GAMES\Steam\steamapps\common\MaxPayne when succesfully done:
backup (folder)
MaxBatch.bat
maxpayne soundpatch 1.12.txt
RASMaker.exe
rl.dll
SHORTCUT.EXE
sox.exe
可以刪除以上轉換用檔案，也可以不刪

12) Go to steam and choose Games/Add non steam game on top.
這步驟可略過

13) Browse to D:\GAMES\Steam\steamapps\common\MaxPayne\maxpayne.exe
這步驟可略過

14) Launch the game from steam and go to options and put everything
to max and disable anti aliasing.
這步驟可略過

15) Choose 1400x1050x32 as resolution. I have a 1920*1080 screen and
on other resolutions it was stretched or windowed.

16) Press play to play the game.

17) Enjoy the game.
然後就可以進入Max Payne 1代灰灰暗暗的世界囉
