使用Redesigning（重新設計）這樣強烈的字眼

主要提出十項改進，且個人認為有依優先順序排列


1. A Second Circle Pad（第二個類比鈕）

The most obvious first change for a 3DS redesign is adding a built-in second
circle pad, to eliminate the need for the “3DS Boat.”
（就是加入第二類比鈕，不想再看到加了右類比擴充套件的「船形3DS」）


2. Ridge Reduction（減少螢幕旁的隆起）
The raised lower screen edge leaves lines on the top screen when the 3DS
closes. Let’s reduce that ridge, or just take it away entirely.
（減少或拿掉會造成上螢幕壓痕的原兇）


3. A, B, X, Y Migration（移動ABXY按鈕）
To make room for the new pad, the face buttons would need to move south.
Which is fine. That placement works for the Wii U.
（因應新加入的類比鈕，原本的四個按鈕下移，類似WiiU的手把）


4. Screen Expansion（螢幕加大）
Nintendo’s frequently increased the size of its portables’ screens in past
redesigns, so let’s have a bit more area added to both displays.


5. Start, Select, Home（三個系統按鈕）
These three buttons have no real meat to them on the 3DS as is. We’d move
them south a bit and beef them up to be more tangible.
（現有的Start, Select, Home按鈕實在是太虛弱了，讓它們往下移且變得更厚更好按）


6. Cut The Cake（拿掉蛋糕）
The 3DS was designed with three levels of a differently-colored plastic, like
a layer cake. Kind of neat, but unnecessary. We’d unify the color.
（捨棄三層的蛋糕造型，統一顏色）


7. Loss of Gloss（減少亮面）
Another unnecessary aspect of the current 3DS is its overall shininess, which
picks up fingerprints too easily. Bring back a matte finish.
（亮面還是太容易留指紋，請改用霧面）


8. Double Lens（雙鏡頭）
3D photography comes courtesy of dual camera lenses, but only on the outside.
Why not double up inside too for 3D face capturing?
（內外相機都採用雙鏡頭）


9. Tighten The Hinge（加強樞紐部分）
There’s a bit of flop and wiggle to the upper half of the 3DS right now. A
redesign would hopefully tighten up the hinge to fix that.
（現在的3DS普遍有轉軸晃動的問題，希望加強樞紐部分的強度）


10. StreetPass Walker
Remember the PokeWalker? Let’s have a snap-off StreePass module that does
the same thing, so you don’t have to haul the whole 3DS.
（最好有個類似神奇寶貝計步器的東西，可以跟3DS主機交換資訊，專門用來擦身，
這樣子才不用每天帶著主機趴趴走）


除了6、7的外觀項，其他都犀利地點出機械與功能性亟需改進的部分
