Yeah, there is a way to boot GameOS gracefully. We have to communicate
with System Manager, it's not hard. I know how GameOS does it.
Regarding CORE_OS package, ps3dm_um can inspect, update and extract
packages. They all have the same interface but different purpose.
First, you could check CORE_OS 3.56 with inspect cmd, it will tell you
if the pkg is OK and if you can install it. With update cmd, you could
install it, but i would not do it of course.
有人詢問說是否有辦法在 Linux裡面直接切換到GameOS,graf_chokolo回答說有
辦法,而且不難,只是得要跟系統管理員溝通而已,而且我已經知道GameOS是怎
麼做到的了。
針對CORE_OS 包裝檔的部份,我的ps3dm_um工具已經可以檢查、更新、甚至解開
整個包裝了,操作介面都相同但是功用不同而已。假設你從3.56版的韌體解開得
到CORE_OS.pkg 檔案,ps3dm_um會告訴你檔案無誤可以被安裝,而且有提示安裝
的指令,當然我沒有安裝就是了。

eeprom.
稍後我會針對ps3dm_um追加一些功能,比如說讀且eeprom的功能。

雖然graf_chokolo的電腦跟 PS3主機都因為SONY提告的關係而被德國警方沒入,
但德國知名的PS3 論壇ps3-tools.de募款送了一台電腦跟 PS3主機,所以他又能
寄去他的工作了。
3.60跟的如KaKaRoTo跟Mathieulh 所說是牢不可破的?至少從graf_chokolo這邊
的進度來看,並非是完全束手無策。不能從GameOS寫入自製韌體,那就從 Linux
寫入就好了。一堆人看到遊戲網站引用KaKaRoTo的話說3.60「很可能」不能破就
高潮了,反應未免也太誇張。不能否認,對於普羅大眾而言, Linux有一定的進
入門檻,但說門檻也沒多高,至少個人這麼看。
買杯飲料靜靜看SONY如何也在推廣 Linux上貢獻一份心力好了。
