With the beta now set to start this weekend, Blizzard is starting to talk a little more about what’s happening at launch. The first update concerns Diablo 2 Resurrected ladders when the game launches.

Community Manager Adam Fletcher has posted some news that will disappoint a lot of players. There may be no Seasons or Ladder ready to run on launch day (23 September).

We will have some more info on seasons/ladder. I would expect it wouldn’t be right at launch for the start of one and more so around a diff time that we specify after launch.
While this may not be a big deal to many, dedicated fans were raring to go with the ladder as soon as the game went live. This is understandable in that many will still have been playing the classic Diablo 2 and are eager to crack on with new ladder characters in the new game.

In other news, which I’m sure will please just about everybody. Runewords that were ladder-only are now being opened up to the single-player community according to Adam.

Ladder Runewords will be available in SP.
I think we can all get on board with that.

也就是說基本上確定9月23日不會有天梯，很有可能是因為天梯系統還沒做好．
但是玩家更關心的是，沒有天梯就算了，
沒有天梯符文組就代表沒有眼光，精神，無限，悔恨，那玩法就差很多了．

後來，Ｂ社又趕快出來滅火說了：

SP 會有天梯符文組

這邊故意用很含糊的詞 SP
可以代表單機玩家 Single Player，也可以代表九月 September．

總之可能還是看外包公司加班的情況了．

然後預購的人也開始吵著要退錢
