這次公布的8.0海島遠征的裝備系列，有各種舊時代裝備的異色版
雖然有些是新模組，但是大部分覺得是炒冷，感覺是沒做新模組弄個異色結束。
掉落會隨者出現在島上的敵對種族而定，例如恐懼之心風格的武器就是碰上螳螂人，瓦許
伊爾風格的武器就是對上納迦，諸如此類的。

但是有些裝備的配色以前只出現在npc身上過，例如火焰德魯伊的造型裝備。
當然也有些別說異色版了，根本連顏色都沒改。
順便一提，所有裝備都沒有職業限制，至少目前資料庫顯示是這樣。
武器類是拾取綁定，但是護甲類卻是裝備綁定。
