40% of users of Epic Games Store stated that they have not installed Steam

According to surveys that Epic Games conducted in August 2018 and January
2019, 40% of EGS users have not installed Steam on their computers. 68% of
respondents also said that they use Steam irregularly – instead most PC
users use EGS on consoles.

Epic Games also noted that 55,000 content creators (Creators) registered with
its online store, supported by 41 million players on all platforms. Epic
Games Store achieved all these results in less than four months – the online
store was launched on December 7, 2018.

Representatives of Epic Games did not name the monthly number of active users
on the Epic Games Store – while on Steam at the end of 2018, this figure was
90 million.

Epic Games Store沒有給出活躍用戶的數據，而Steam在2018年底時有九千萬位活躍用戶。


所以照Epic的意思，他們的用戶和Steam的用戶有區隔。這也不意外啦！就49用戶不少沒
在用Steam呀！

所以既然有區隔，那針對Steam做什麼？各賺各的不好？
