The dev also mentions in his readme,
the following "1.50 kernel addon for fat will be released this evening
or this night."
So did he change his mind? Will at least its good news for all of you
who were worried of losing their 1.50 kernel support.

This update DA also brings a new PSP SDK for 4.01 M33.
Included is "PSP Packer" which is a tool to compress prx's and pbp's.

You may update your PSP via the Network Update icon on your PSP through a
wi-fi hotspot. Or alternatively download the update from the link below,
which also includes the new PSP SDK from Dark_AleX. Also be sure to check out
the readme(s) included with the files.
